Item description from seller

First edition, first printing. Signed by Christoper Hitchens on the title page in blue ink. viii, 187 pp. Bound in publisher's black cloth-affect paper-covered boards lettered in gilt on spine. Near Fine with light wear to covers and light dust-soiling to upper edge of textblock; very slight bowing to boards. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light toning to flaps and sunned spine panel. The first full-length book by renowned polemicist Christopher Hitchens, co-written with Peter Kellner. Callaghan would ultimately be brought down in the 1979 elections, replaced by the Conservative leader Margaret Thatcher.
