A very good copy with ink mark on front panel and missing the first "a" in "Margaret". No fading. SIGNED - NOT INSCRIBED - ON THE TITLE PAGE BY MARGARET ATWOOD. This is a very good copy indeed of the scarce first Anansi printing of this work in September, 1967, so noted on the copyright page. (While scarce in its own right in this condition, this edition was preceded by the rare true first edition, first printing, the Contact edition issued in the fall of 1966. The Anansi edition is often incorrectly identified as the first edition) Prior owner's name neatly on half title page, and ink mark on front panel.
