In 1996 Chickamauga was awarded the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize, which is awarded annually by the Academy of American Poets for the best volume of poetry written by a living U.S. citizen and published in the previous year in the United States. Boldly SIGNED by Wright and inscribed by him to Virginia's Poet Laureate Joe Awad. Both the book and the dust jacket are in as-new condition. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
