From the Author
I love to write gripping tales of ordinary people suddenly faced with high adventure in ususual circumstances -- tales where love must surpass the challenges that outside forces bring against any love beyond traditional and acceptable stamdards.
Meet Karen, a businesswoman who isn't known for her skills at picking the men in her life. She prays for the closeness of a true romance, and a spacecraft crashes near her home in Maui. Vogarr, the alien presence who invades Karen while six other aliens invade others, violates all the edicts of his planet by communicting with her. While she's terrified of him, he's awestruck by her. To calm her down, he asks her to think of the most acceptable container of her kind. Appearing to her as the hunk of her fantasies, the handsome Ravell appearing on the cover of romance novels, they take cerebral trips of ultimate romance and adventure. Feeling that humans are too concerned with their appearance, at her insistence he teaches her an unusual alien diet.
While evading the real life presence of deadly forces obsessed with destroying the aliens and their human hosts, Vogarr must face an awful choice -- either he leaves Karen knowing she will die instantly, or he saves her life by remaining within her and forfeiting his own life.
I hope you enjoy the twists and turns as these two embark on "Chasing the Cosmic Wind."
