First Edition thus. A very good copy in red cloth, stamped in black. Portrait frontispiece with 31 illustrations. Inscribed: "For J. E. Ransom with kind greetings of the author, Ezra Meeker, Walla Walla Wash June 17th 1922." The present title is a revised edition of Ventures and Adventures of Ezra Meeker (1909) describing his journey west to Puget Sound. At 75 Meeker resolved to dedicate the remainder of his life to the commemorative marking of the Oregon Trail. Signed by Author(s). Seller Inventory # 10542
