SIGNED and inscribed first edition hardback, 1927, with no jacket. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards a touch rubbed and tanned to spine and edges. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation - signed by author to front endpaper dated April 1927 with inscription to Arthur Hays Sulzberger (publisher of the New York Times); toning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Photographs available. Not an old library book.
