Contains A General Survey to the Fifteenth Century, The Sixteenth and Seventeenth Century, The Survey to the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries, The Survey Continued 1900-1949, Country Houses, The Forrest etc., etc. The extra items are (I) a signed note from author with a 4 single sided printed item "Brentwood school and the Dagenham Great Tithe" by John Gerard O'Leary, (II) a signed letter from author (as Borough Librarian), (III) a signed letter from author re some details of book owners home, (IV) 2 page letter signed by Lee ? who seems to be co-writing a history book relating to Dagenham, (V) 2 minor items.
