Publisher's red cloth lettered in gilt to backstrip, hammer and sickle device to front board, black endpapers, typographic dust-wrapper. Fine / as new. Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert, a consultant and photographer on this fascinating project, was recorded in conversation with James Fleming by Blazej Mikula, for The Book Collector (at Firsts London, 2021). This particular copy was signed by all three authors at the event. A most engaging book which chronicles a largely unexplored aspect of literary Bondlore; James Fleming's Bond Behind the Iron Curtain conveys the Communist perception of his uncle's legendary secret agent, through his appearance in print throughout the Soviet bloc. Blazej Mikula, filmmaker, book collector and digital media producer at Cambridge University Library, contributes an essay regarding the novel James Bond i Moonracker. Seller Inventory # 68654
