First UK Edition. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED TO FELLOW CRIME WRITER ROBERT BARNARD AND WITH AN ADDITIONAL INSCRIPTION BY THE AUTHOR. A near fine copy in like dustwrapper. SIGNED copy with an additional inscription from the Author: "With love to Bob and Louise -/ Katherine" and also with a hand-written post-it note to the front free end-paper: "Hale is doing a nice job with these British editions! Much more readable print." Highly recommended. Inexplicably uncommon. Photographs/scans available upon request.
