Published by Doubleday, Page & Company, New York, 1924. Winner of the 1925 Pulitzer Prize for Novel (Fiction). First edition, first printing with FIRST EDITION stated on the copyright page. The book measures 7.5" x 5", 360 pages. The book is in good condition. Rubbing to the boards and label on the front board. Sunning and creasing to the spine with cloth loss at the top edge, affecting the title. Rear hinge is cracked. Previous owner's small signature in pencil on the front end paper and on the rear paste-down. Moisture stain to the bottom corner of the fore-edge that seeps into a few of the margins.
