Pubisher - Allen Figgis, Dublin, 1962. 1st ed. First edition. Signed and inscribed on ffep by author S. J. Watson with inscription: "with best wishes and thanks for hospitality from Sidney Watson author". Another presentation inscription on ffep to Mum from [Bow] dated 11 May 1963, and name of previous owner D. Bowley at top of ffep. Unclipped jacket with some shelfwear including small tears and some staining. Charles Bianconi (1786-1875), who arrived in Ireland in 1802 from Italy, "revolutionized the transport system of nineteenth-century Ireland" through the introduction of the Bianconi coaches.
