Item description from seller

A square solid tight clean unread unused copy. From 1988 to 1997, The Scream Factory: The Magazine of Horrors Past, Present and Future provided an exhaustive and often irreverent overview of all aspects of horror-from fiction to film and beyond. It became a go-to reference for horror aficionados around the globe. Twenty years after the magazine ceased publication, editors Peter Enfantino, Robert Morrish, and John Scoleri have sifted through the contents of the magazine's 20-issue run to assemble this epic collection. The Best of The Scream Factory reprints more than 70 articles from the magazine's golden age, covering such diverse topics as: the best horror novels of the '80s; a viewer's guide to Godzilla movies; horror in the pulps; the worst in horror; dark suspense fiction; the influence of The Night of the Living Dead on fiction and film; horror on old-time radio; sci-fi/horror hybrids; western horror; werewolf fiction; British horror fiction and films; Canadian horrors; and horror in the comics. In addition to the nearly 600-page selection of "greatest hits," the editors have penned a brand new 25,000 word introduction, diving deep into the sordid history of the magazine as well as the books published (and even a few unpublished!) under the Deadline Press imprint. THIS COPY IS IN MY POSSESSION AND WILL NORMALLY SHIP NEXT DAY. Size: 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall.

Store description

We are an Internet based business that has been selling books Internationally for going on 25 years. Our inventory consists of 15,000+ titles(prox)of which 95% are Used and/or Rare with a few new items. We try to stock items that appeal to all readers from signed limiteds to comics and everything in between. We tend to specialize in Horror, Suspense Thrillers and Modern Firsts. We don't claim to be the last word on knowledge on anything but know the most about these genres. We stock everything we can find by the following authors: Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Clive Barker, Anne Rice, John Sandford, James Lee Burke, Joe R. Lansdale, Robert R. McCammon, J. K. Rowling to name a few. I am not into long descriptions for my books. What descriptions there are concern the physical shape of the book, not content. I am generally hard on my books when describing them. I do use the usual letter grading but describe every defect that the book has to a point that you may not think that you want to buy it. There will never be a surprise when you receive a book from me. Feel free to email or call if you have any questions. I have a lot more satisfied customers then I do unhappy ones. You can return any book that you buy from me that doesn't arrive AS ADVERTISED for a full refund including return shipping costs.
