Millers Point, Pier 9, 2007. Quarto, 224 pages with numerous illustrations (some in colour, most full-page) and numerous recipes. Pictorial papered boards; a fine copy with the near-fine dustwrapper in the slightly marked slipcase. Provenance: curator and archaeologist Dr Robert Edwards (1930-2023), signed, and with a warm ink inscription ('Regards with my | best wishes and good | health, 1956 to 2012') from Beppi Polese beneath the half-title, and with an ink gift inscription above. 'This is the illustrated memoir of iconic Sydney restauranteur Beppi Polese, which reveals how a labourer's son from rural Italy transformed the restaurant scene of a city on the other side of the world' (from the blurb).
