Signed and inscribed by Oxnam on the front endpaper, also laid in are a personal letter from Oxnam, a newspaper clipping of his obituary, a four-page article on Oxnam, and what appear to be handwritten notes from a memorial service (which is mentioned in the inscription of the book) Price-clipped DJ is missing a piece from both head and heel of spine, corners are rubbed. Illustrated throughout with famous portraits of mothers. "Here is a tribute to motherhood, sincere and moving but written entirely without sentimentalism." (from the jacket blurb).
