Black leatherette boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 120 pp 8vo. This book contains 650 illustrations of distinctly different barbed wires. Each illustration was drawn from an actual specimen. Essentially, this book is a revision of an earlier Allison book--Barbed Wire and RElated Fencing Items. Very little additional information has been added. Mainly the difference consists of teh scale size. The original wires were reproduced to a six-tenths scale while the scale in this book is 1:1. The wires that are illustrated in this book are barbed wires. Planter wires, fence stays, net or woven wires, and other related items are not included in this book because they are illustrated in other books. This book will provide the collector with accurate patent data and good illustrations. A clean very presentable copy. Seller Inventory # 016519
