260pp + lvi Preface. Printed at The Marchbanks Press in a limited numbered edition of 1500 copies. This is copy #81. Signed by the illustrator on the colophon. Light green linen cloth covered boards with green title plate mounted on face and brown plate on spine - both with gilt lettering. Sun fading to cloth at spine. Dark green top page edges with sewn headbands. Previous owner's neat illustrated bookplate tipped to edge of front paste down. Numerous b/w wood-engravings by John Farleigh, including full-page frontis illustration. Slight weakness to binding at pp100/101. Otherwise appears hardly read. Seller Inventory # 013268

The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit.
