An exhaustive bibliographic checklist of over 100 different American Musical libretti all of which derived from a single collection, including complete runs of published firsts by Stephen Sondheim, Alan Jay Lerner (of Lerner & Loewe) and Oscar Hammerstein, 2nd (of Rodgers & Hammerstein). From Comden & Green's APPLAUSE to Frank Ebb's ZORBA, this catalogue is an A-Z journey through nearly all the first edition published libretti from 1932 until the end of the century. Also referenced are two Alan Jay Lerner personal annotated play scripts, dozens of rehearsal scripts and many early drafts of spectacular Broadway hits and flops. Most of the catalogued material is extremely rare and unpublished. Signed by the author.
