Contents: Introduction; Unity of Origin - Unity of Sentiment; History Versus Finance; Text of a Poster; The Unswerving Loyalty; The French Tricolor in Canada. M. Vaillancourt presents a series of essays about French and English Canadians, and French Canada, focusing on the commonalities (such as a shared Norman heritage), rather than the differences, and emphasizing French Canadian contributions to the growth of North America. Interior - light browning to the pages - mainly in the margins, a slight separation between some of the page gatherings but pages are holding very firmly in the binding. Exterior - light to moderate edge wear, wrinkling at the edges of the coard covers, two soft corner creases, the spine has a light to moderate lean and has two creases, light browning to the edges of the text block.
