Item description from seller

First edition. Letter "Z" of 26 COPIES BOUND IN FULL LEATHER and housed in handmade clamshell box, each copy SIGNED BY BROWN AND MOSER and with TWO LOOSE LITHOGRAPHS SIGNED BY MOSER in glassine envelope laid in (one is the frontispiece illustration, the other appears opposite the first page of text and is of Brown). The handmade box is by artist Kannex Fung and features heavily textured handmade papers and a small wooden picket fence that becomes a stockade when the box is fully closed. Later collected under the same title in 2001. Fine in fine box.…

The Quill & Brush was established in 1976 by Allen and Patricia Ahearn as an open store carrying first editions and fine art. At present it is by appointment only and housed in the home of the Ahearn's eldest daughter, Beth Ahearn Fisher, who is carrying on the family bookselling tradition. Our current stock of approximately 3,500 books consists mainly of first editions of American and English Literature including Mysteries and Detective Stories, Science Fiction, Children's and Illustrated Books. We also collectible books in all fields. Over the years, we have published more than 200 individual Author Price Guides; and Allen and Patricia authored the well-regarded books on book collecting, "Collected Books: The Guide to Identification and Values" (4th ed., 2011) and "Book Collecting 2000: A Comprehensive Guide."
