It was translated into English and with 10 additional chapters added. Vettier has literally hunted around the world for the most exotic of animals--in Africa he shot mountain Nyala, elephant, bongo, lion, giant eland, leopard, buffalo and much more. Countries include: Ethiopia, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, Cameroon, and CAR. In Asia he shot most of the wild sheep outside of Iran as well as an extraordinary 4 markhors. In the Americas he hunted for jaguar, Dall sheep, brown bear, desert sheep, bighorn, polar bear, and Stone sheep. In Europe he hunted stags, roe deer, Spanish ibex, boar, and mouflon. Written with much philosophical thoughts and sometimes a sharp pen about fellow hunters. Interesting reading, Includes 325 photos.
