Item description from seller

Beautifully signed by Ayn Rand on signature cut lightly adhered at title page: "Cordially, Ayn Rand, 4/28/69". Very attractive. Stated first printing. Green full cloth boards, gilt cover initials and spine titles on black field, moderate shelf wear, bow, crease. Deckled pages very good, clean. List of seveteen signed names at front endpaper; apparently for an event or gift. Deep green top-stain, fine. Bind fine, square; hinges intact. Original, wrapper with moderate edge wear, chip; unclipped $6.95, protected in new clear sleeve. Date code 10/57 at front flap. Striking cover art by George Salter. Set into volumes is a scarce, ephemeral card for this title with question: "Have you read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand?" Similar to the "Who Is John Galt?" motif. Sharp first edition in same wrapper. Additionally, includes professionally framed and enlarged art from the First Day Issue postage honoring Rand's legacy. This piece features a certified signed clipping with PSA Letter of Authenticity. Number AP07507 may be confirmed at PSA site. Apparently from an event of signed names which includes Ayn Rand's pen in her classic style. A very stylish pairing of her magnum opus "Atlas Shrugged" and this decorative piece with certification. In Rand's greatest achievement - and last work of fiction - she dramatizes her unique philosophy through an intellectual story that integrates ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, politics, and sexuality. Set in a near-future U.S.A. whose economy is collapsing as a result of the mysterious disappearance of leading innovators and industrialists, this novel presents an astounding panorama of human life. Endowed w/larger-than-life characters and charged with towering questions of good and evil, Atlas Shrugged is a revolutionary epic. 1184 pages. Insured post. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.…
