One Of 550 Copies, This Being #455 Hand Signed By Edward Weston On The Colophon, And Additionally Inscribed On The Facing Page By Weston "To Giovanni -- Artist (Underlined) From Edward - 1934" And Additionally Inscribed From Armitage "This Signature Is Added By Merle Armitage". (Also Included Is The Will Kistler Printed " Receiving Record" For This Copy, #455, Dated Feb. 12, 1934; Napolitano Subsequently Took A Trip To Carmel To Visit Weston, Apparently Bringing This Book With Him For Signature.) Napolitano Illustrated Many Books For Armitage, And Illustrated Some Books With Weston; Weston Took The Portrait Photograph For Armitage's Book On Napolitano In 1935, And Also Brett Weston Was The Photographer For Some Of Napolitano's Wpa Murals. An Exceptional Example, Just A Trace Of Rubbing, No Tears Or Fraying, Very Slight Toning To Spine Without Browning, All Contents Fresh With No Foxing Or Toning.
