David Garrard Lowe is the author of numerous books, including Stanford White's New York and Beaux Arts New York: The City in the Gilded Years. President of the Beaux Arts Alliance, he is a regular lecturer at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, and New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
