First Edition (first printing), this American edition preceding the UK edition by six months. This copy inscribed by the author on the title page and dated 1999. 8vo. 246pp. Brown boards lettered in white at the spine and with the publisher's motif blind-stamped to the upper board. Top edge dust soiled, and with a little bruising to the backstrip ends. A very good copy in very good non-price-clipped dust wrapper, lightly toned at the spine panel, with a touch of rubbing to the spine ends, one or two minute areas of marking, and a single internal taped repair. The author's second book.
