About the Author

His work has been featured on numerous television programs and on the covers of <i>Life, The New York Times Magazine, Smithsonian</i>, and many other magazines. He lives in New York City.</p><p><b>BARRY WERTH</b> is the author of <i>The Billion Dollar Molecule</i>, <i>Damages</i>, and <i>The Scarlet Professor</i>, which was a National Book Critics Circle finalist and won the Lambda Literary Award for biography.
