First edition, first printing, presentation copy inscribed on the title "To Ginger, with gratitude for all your good work! Alicia. 24.i.01, Atlanta". The recipient was almost certainly Ginger Murchison, who interviewed Stallings about Archaic Smile for The Cortland Review. This collection of poems, by the recipient of the 1999 Richard Wilbur Award, is uncommon in such fine condition and especially so inscribed. Octavo.
