First edition, number 397 of 500 copies signed by the artist. Blake's bold illustrations provide a fine accompaniment to Carroll's text. This edition also contains an illustrated interview with Blake. Quarto. With 8 colour plates by Peter Blake, tipped in as issued, many colour illustrations in the text. Original blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt, colour pictorial label to front cover within gilt border, yellow endpapers with printed black and white photograph, yellow silk bookmarker. Small mark to rear free endpaper, otherwise a fine copy.
