Presentation Copy Limited to 1500 copies. This is #233. Signed by the editor on the full title page. In good minus condition. The book is bound in black cloth with facsimile Schweitzer signature stamped in gilt on the front cover. The spine cover has loosened from the text block, the back hinge is cracked near the end of the book at Biographical Data page and the text block is firm. Pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is in poor condition with chips of missing paper off the front panel and spine panel . The original price is on the front flap.

Operating through a retail outlet located at 200 Maine St. in Brunswick and through its on-line sales activities, Curtis Friends operates only with volunteers from the local community and sells only those books donated by its constituents. Curtis Friends has been in existence for several decades.
