These exquisite High Renaissance choral works by Jacob Handl (1550-1591) are edited by Theodore Morrison for choirs of trumpets (or trombones down an octave). They provide wonderful musical and t echnical opportunities for brass players to work on subtlety of tone and expression and make beautiful concerts pieces as well. They are not technically difficult and the range is moderate. Writt en for trumpets in the upper parts and optional Flugelhorn in the lower parts. Regnum Mundi is for 4 Trumpets: Trahe Me Post Te is for 5 Trumpets: Repleti Sunt Omnes is for two choirs of 4 Trumpe ts each.
