This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Nigeria has experienced an alarming rise in the manifestation of violent conflicts. These include ethnic, religious, political and other types of conflicts that have led to massive loss of lives, destructions and heightening of suspicion and hatred among the citizens. The central reality of our time is that the advent of globalisation and the revolution in information and technology have magnified both the creative and destructive potential of every individual, tribe and nation on our planet. Journalists who play a crucial role in shaping public understanding by providing information about conflict bear a heavy responsibility for what they write and broadcast.
