Language: English. Approximately 396 pages. English: Print-on-demand reprint. Original edition : 1820. Text in English. This work presents a critical examination of the religious practices and beliefs of the higher and middle classes in early 19th-century England, contrasting them with the principles of genuine Christianity. The volume includes William Wilberforce's 'A Practical View of the Prevailing Religious System' alongside John Flavel's 'The Touchstone of Sincerity, or Trial of True and False Religion'.
