In this work, James Bryce offers his perspective on the theological controversies that emerged in the Scottish church at the turn of the 18th century. He writes passionately as a Protestant of the School of the Reformation, aiming to defend his beliefs and contribute to the ongoing debates within the church. With its clear style and strong conviction, this book remains a valuable resource for those interested in the complexities of Scottish religious history.
