Framed photograph of Chief Justice Warren E. Burger signed and inscribed to Bill Waller, former Governor of Mississippi. Burger has signed beneath the photograph on the mat-board, 'For Bill Waller with appreciation for his work in the trenches, Warren E. Burger.' It is dated 1986. Bill Waller was a Mississippi democrat who was elected Governor for one term, and ran unsuccessfully for both the statehouse and senate later in his career. Warren E. Burger was Chief Justice of the United States from 1969-1986. Photograph is approximately 11 x 11 inches, mounted to a 14 x 15 binding board -- the whole thing framed in a 14.5 x 15.5 inch wooden frame with black and gold finish. The back of the frame is sealed in the original framer's paper & I have not removed the item from the frame to inspect the inside. Shipping will be extra, to ensure safe delivery of framed item.
