This is a lot of three large B&W photographs taken in Europe, circa 1959-1961. The images are ~10" x 13", two of which are mounted on 13-1/2" x 16-1/2" card. One is a scene in Bern, Switzerland; the 2nd of St. Peters in Rome; the subject of the 3rd is unknown, but certainly along a riverbank in a European city. Pencilled on the backer card below the the Bern photo is "Bern, Switzerland / August, 1959". Inked on the backer card below the the St. Peters photo is "St. Peters, Rome / May, 1961". The "unknown" photo has no backer card. The "unknown" photo has tape (or mounting) stains at the corners. Else the photos are clean. The backer cards are age-toned, and with a bit of rubbing, small stains. The St Peters photo has tape along the edges of the backer rear, likely from having been mounted in a frame at one time. Inked on the rear of the backer card of the St Peters photo are later notes about later trips to Europe. These were likely vacation photos taken during trips to Europe, as they are from a small lot of European photos dated 1959 - 1961. ; 27C. Seller Inventory # 62425
