Most of the images are of piles of corpses. text: Diese Schandtaten: Eure Schuld! In zwölf Jahren haben die Nazi-Verbrecher Millionen Europäer gefoltert, verschleppt und ermordet. Männer, Frauen und Kinder wurden von Hitlers vertierten Henkersknechten gehetzt und zu Tode gequält, nur weil sie Juden, Tschechen, Russen, Polen oder Franzosen waren. Ihr habt ruhig zugesehen und es stillschweigend geduldet. Im Kampf erhärtete Soldaten der Alliierten haben ihren Ekel und ihre Empörung angesichts der vergasten, verkohlten und ausgemergelten Leichen der Opfer in den K.Z. nicht verbergen können. In Buchenwald wurden nach deutschen Lagerberichten 50 000 Menschen verbrannt, erschossen, aufgehängt. In Dachau fanden amerikanische Soldaten allein 50 Güterwagen mit verwesenden Leichen. Seit Beginn dieses Jahres erlagen dort 10 000 Menschen ihren Foltern. In Belsen fanden britische Truppen Folterkammern, Verbrennungsöfen, Galgen und Auspeitschungspfähle. 30 000 Menschen sind dort umgekommen. In Gardelegen, Nordhausen, Ohrdruf, Erla, Mauthausen, Vaihingen fielen unzählige Zwangsverschleppte und politische Gefangene einem Inferno, wie es die Weltgeschichte noch nie gesehen hat, zum Opfer! Ihr habt untätig zugesehen. Warum habt Ihr mit keinem Wort des Protestes, mit keinem Schrei der Empörung das deutsche Gewissen wachgerüttelt? Das ist Eure grosse Schuld - Ihr seid mitverantwortlich für diese grausamen Verbrechen! [TRANSLATION: These shameful deeds: your fault! In twelve years the Nazi criminals tortured, deported and murdered millions of Europeans. Men, women and children were hounded by Hitler's brutish henchmen and tortured to death just because they were Jews, Czechs, Russians, Poles or French. You looked calmly on and put up with it in silence. Battle-hardened Allied soldiers could not conceal their disgust and their anger at the sight of the gassed, charred and emaciated corpses of the victims in the concentration camps. In Buchenwald, according to German camp records, 50,000 people were burnt, shot or hanged. In Dachau American soldiers alone found 50 goods trucks loaded with decomposing bodies. Since the beginning of this year 10,000 people have died of their ill-treatment. In Belsen British troops found torture chambers, incinerators, gallows and whipping posts. 30,000 people died there. In Gardelegen, Nordhausen, Ohrdruf, Erla, Mauthausen and Vaihingen countless forcibly deported people and political prisoners fell victim to an inferno the like of which has never before been seen in the history of the world! You looked on and took no action. Why did you not shake the German conscience awake with some word of protest, some cry of indignation? The blood was streaming over the ground when the soldiers got there. 3) This inmate of the Dachau camp of shame was found hollow-eyed and emaciated from hunger by the American soldiers. 4) Some of the 1000 corpses found in a pit that were discovered by British and American soldiers on the liberation of one camp. 5) American soldiers viewing a camp of atrocities where the burnt bodies of Nazi victims lie in piles. 6) The charred corpses of the political prisoners who were hounded to death by SS troops in the camp at Dachau. 7) An inmate of the camp at Dachau looking at the bodies of his comrades who became victims of the brutish SS troops.
