This 9.5 x 12 inch poster is a WWII era flyer from the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District with the bold headline ?All Out for War ?Keep ?em Flying? Doesn?t Mean Mosquitoes? - - with a graphic showing the life-cycle of mosquitoes, several paragraphs noting that ?Mosquitoes can seriously interfere with an all out prosecution of the War on Bataan Peninsula Mosquitoes and Mosquito-Transmitted Malaria helped defeat our gallant troops.? The wordage goes on to encourage the elimination of breeding places around homes and work-places with two black-and-white photo?s to illustrate. The item concludes at the bottom with ?Adolf, Hirohito, Benito Benito-and-Mosquito are our enemies.? The item is in only good condition with several small tears along the edges with thumb-tack holes showing at the four corners and smallish creases throughout but overall complete.
