A tourist brochure published in 1937 by the National Travel Association of Norway in Oslo. Covers history, peasant life, travel conditions, cities, etc. All texts and captions in English. Illustrated throughout with vintage bluish/gray-tinted sepia-like photographs. The inside back cover has a series of photographs of Arctic Research on the ground and in the air (Nansen, Sverdrup, Amundsen, etc.) A detailed folded two-sided map (covering the northern and the southern parts of the country) is also pasted near the spine of the inside back cover of the brochure. The staples are rusted, but don't have an impact on the contents, otherwise the piece is in excellent condition with no other marks of any kind. Measures 4.75" x 8" with 24 pages.
