2 slips, with signature in ink, 13 x 8.5 cm "Ponsonby of Shulbrede, 1937'. Includes a newspaper cutting with photo. Ponsonby (1871-1946) was a British politician who famously suggested that the burning down of Crystal palace in 1936 was deliberate to remove a target landmark for enemy bombers in any future war.
