This leaf has been matted and custom framed with a plaque mounted below the leaf. Title page on verso with The Name and Order of All The Bookes… on recto. The recto is not visible since the leaf is framed. This inviting title page of the groundbreaking Geneva Bible is the same type as issued in the 1560 First Edition quarto and unique to these two editions. Features a woodcut of a candlestick and citation from Matthew 5:15, No man lighteth a candell, for to put it under a bushell, but upon the candlestick.
