Single annotation in manuscript ink on the title page, noting a phone number. A key science fiction film of the 1980s, drifting between satire and improbable adventure, following the exploits of the titular Buckaroo Banzai, a Japanese-American physicist, neurosurgeon, martial arts master, secret agent, and rock star. Shot on location in Los Angeles. Beige wrappers with a title label affixed to the front wrapper. Title page present, dated September 17, 1982, noted as Second Draft, with credit for screenwriter Earl Mac Rauch. 107 leaves, with last page of text numbered 106, Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good, with light offsetting on the wrappers, and faint discoloration on the fore-edges of the last 20 leaves. Bound with three gold brads. Arrow 1119.
