Large folding hand-colored pocket map measuring 32 by 40 inches. Folded into a dark brown cloth binder (3 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches) with "New Sectional Map of Iowa Published by Geo. F. Cram" on cover. Binder has 1873 census data for Iowa on inside cover. Map shows state capital, county seats, villages and p.o. stations, completed railroads and more. The map is in good condition with some light marginal soiling, some minor separation at the center folds, a diagonal 9 inch closed tear at the left side where attached to the binder and a smaller one at the right side and one small hole at the right side in the center. The binder is very good with some light soiling. Seller Inventory # 11487
