A set of three railroad company blueprints for lettering railroad cars, each measuring 17 3/4" hi by 33" w, belonging to the New York, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad (NKP reporting mark, abbr. NYC & ST.L), the Chelsea & Ohio Rwy. Co., the Erie RR. Co, and Pere Marquette Rwy. Co. Drawing #s 152-4-500, June 14, 1904 (Nickel), 152-4-501, June 14, 1940 (Plate) and 152-4-488 July 28, 1939 (Road). Revisions were made from those dates on 10/04/1945, 10/10/1946, and 12/14/1948, thus dating these blueprints to 1948. Near Fine, small corner creases, some fading at right side of "ROAD", each with a horizontal fold crease and two vertical fold creases. The New York, Chicago & St. Louis Railroad was popularly known as the NICKEL PLATE ROAD throughout its storied 83 year existence. A RARE set of original railroad company blueprints, eminently suitable for framing and display, and they will be shipped loosely rolled in sturdy mailing tube.
