Map dimensions 68 x 94.4 cm, overall dimensions 70.5 x 98 cm. Folding map of London showing the extents from Cheshunt down to Leatherhead and Thurrock across Colnbrook. Original colour marking out the boundaries of the postal districts. The whole dissected into 32 sections and backed onto linen, folds between original red cloth boards, gilt lettered to upper cover, marbled paper to inner cover and to folded end section on linen verso. Upper board loose, covers worn. Map paper soiled overall, split to linen along on section at upper right. Slight leeching of colour noticeable towards lower edge. Cf.
