A full set of six maps of England and Wales - hand colured in outline - main roads, railways, county boundaries, coastline etc. By Charles Knight, Londom dated Jan 1st 1852. Each map measures 14" x 17" (37 x 43 cms) including a 1" (2.45 cm) margin. Published under the Superintendant for the Society Diffusion of Local Knowledge (SDUK). Heights of Mountains given in yards and population of England and Wales listed as 17,922,768 in 1851. Maps clean and unmarked .
