12mo. (14 x 8.5 cm). pp.xii+312. Publisher's original blind-stamped green cloth, upper cover lettered in gilt, yellow-coated endpapers, sprinkled edges. Wood engraved vignettes in the letterpress, map (41.5 x 60 cm) attached to front pastedown. The map bears the imprint: 'Engraved and Published by Cruchley, Map Seller, 81 Fleet Street, from Ludgate Street, St. Pauls London. Jan. 1st 1849'. Generally an excellent copy, both of the book and the map. The map with just some trivial splits along folds. A French translation of the tenth edition of 'Cruchley's Picture of London' by E.H.
