From the last of the highly decorative steel engraved atlases of the 19th century. Decorative border with five hand coloured vignettes of St. Peter's Port, Castle Cornet, Jersey, a Druidical Altar near L'Ancresse. and Mont Orgueil Castle. The map has original outline colour of boundaries added by hand. Centre fold as issued, slight toning to the outside edges, but otherwise in excellent condition, a crisp impression with full margins.
