Incisione in rame. Carta geografica tratta dall'Atlante di Antonio Magini, pubblicata a Bologna dal figlio Fabio dopo la morte del padre. Bell'esemplare marginoso con bella coloritura coeva, due cartigli decorativi, in alto a destra e in basso a sinistra, riportanti rispettivamente il titolo della mappa e la dedica con la firma dell'autore. Sono estremamente rare le coloriture d'epoca nelle carte del Magini. Ottimo stato di conservazione. Magini, cartografo ed astronomo padovano, dopo aver terminato gli studi di filosofia si dedica all'insegnamento della matematica ricoprendo la cattedra all'universit� di Bologna. Il suo Atlante rappresenta un fondamento per tutta a cartografia del XVII secolo, a cui si ispirarono i grandi autori fiamminghi, quali Blaeu e Jansonio. Formato: 375x450mm.
