This black and white map of London contains street maps at scale 3" to 1 mile, 11 pages of 4.5" to 1 mile maps covering the congested central area, an Underground map and West End cinema and theatre maps. Coverage extends to Stanmore, Barnet, Enfield, Woodford, Dagenham, Woolwich, Bromley, Croydon, Surbiton, Southall and Harrow. A number of subsidiary addresses have been included on the maps, but where there has been insufficient space, the entry is shown in the index in italics with the adjacent access road or street. An index to areas and index to stations is now included.

Major alterations to the text include: 5A18-7K19 - the dualling of the A406 and addition of roundabouts is now shown; 6H23-7K23 - the reclassification of roads in Harrow in now shown; 6K33-5C48 - the M11 to A102(M) link road is shown as under construction; 5B54-6C54 new estate of minor roads is now shown; 5B62-7E62 - the major roads within the City have been reclassified; 6A64-5F80 - the Limehouse Link, Aspen Way and redevelopment of the Isle of Dogs are now shown; 2E88-5K69 - the A13 to M25 link is shown as under construction; 2K77 - Waterloo International Station is now shown; 1B122-3E122 - new estate of minor roads and new road layout in Mitcham now shown; and 1K133 - new estate of Purley Way now shown.
