Here is The July 1st, 1926 issue of "Youth's Companion". It was the 100th year of publication for the magazine, and this was volume 100, No. 26. The front cover has a great black-and-white photograph of a racing car, . The photo is titled "Cinderella Takes the Road", and the car is identified as the YC Lab car, on the road near Quincy, Massachusetts. The photograph was taken by Harry Irving Shumway. Clean and presentable with the following particulars noted : EXTERIOR : Subscriber's mailing address stamped on front cover. Scattered spotting and smudging . a horizontal crease across the center where the issue was folded. Edges display small nicking and minute tears. The staples display rust, but are still fairly firm in attachment; interior has some scattered smudging and spotting - also some small rust staining about the staples (this does not extend much beyond the staples) - else clean and unmarked.
