Item description from seller

Official Sligo Rovers match programme, season 1994/95, No. 24, £1.00. Sligo Rovers v Shelbourne, Bord Gáis National League Premier Division, the Showgrounds, Wednesday 12 April 1995, kick-off 7.30pm. 'The Bit o' Red', described on the cover as an award-winning matchday magazine, with the banner 'F.A.I. Cup Winners, First Division Champions, Shield Winners 1993/94'. The club directory names the player/manager as LAWRIE SANCHEZ ? who scored Wimbledon's winning goal in the 1988 FA Cup final and later managed Northern Ireland and Fulham. His 'Inside View' on page 3 opens: 'Football can be a cruel game at times. It can lead you from the heights of elation to the depths of depression all in the course of four days.' He is proud of a second half that nearly recovered the tie, and blunt about the finances ? without gate money 'we could lose players to other League of Ireland clubs. A galling prospect!' The standout page is the complete 'Sligo Rovers Fixtures & Results 1994/95', from 22 July through to 7 May: the whole league season, the FAI Cup run, and the club's EUROPEAN CUP WINNERS' CUP campaign ? Floriana of Malta home and away, then CLUB BRUGGE. One page holding an entire European season. Chairman Ray Gallagher; club captain Gavin Dykes; edited by Tommy Horan. Sixteen pages.
